Stallings is a bedroom community adjacent to Matthews and Mint Hill just minutes from Interstate 485. While the original town includes modest homes and rural areas, Stallings is pursuing the annexation of newer subdivisions that will provide a mix of higher priced homes and golf course communities. The town is bisected by Highway 74 which provides opportunities for commercial establishments. Because of its location, Stallings has excellent access to Charlotte's shopping and cultural amenities.
Stallings is located in north central Union County, Charlotte's next door neighbor. With its rolling hills and variety of lifestyle choices from new suburban neighborhoods to golf course communities to rural hideaways, family farms, and country estates, Union County offers a reasonable cost of living, excellent schools, relatively low taxes, growing business opportunities, and excellent access to Charlotte's business centers, airport, and cultural and shopping facilities.
