Beachwood, Ohio Relocation Guide

The city of Beachwood which is located approximately 14 miles east of Cleveland, has a population of more than 12,000 residents. The city is conveniently located near major highways including I-271, I-480, I-90 and the Ohio Turnpike (I-80). It is a city that is very family oriented of which most of the household's occupations are executive, managerial, professional and technical. Almost 67% of the population have some college-graduate degrees.

Along with residential, Beachwood has great tax base support from the many businesses, office buildings, organizations, and retail establishments. Beachwood has one of Cleveland's finest shopping malls; Beachwood Place. At this mall are fine stores such as Nordstrom, Dillard's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ann Taylor, and Eddie Bauer, to name a few.

Beachwood has one of the finest school systems in the country which spends over $16,000 tax dollars per pupil. Besides having a spectacular school system, Beachwood has private schools as the Agnon School, Ganon-Gil preschool, the College of Jewish Studies, and Cuyahoga Community College East campus.

The Beachwood recreation department has a pool, tennis courts, playground/park, camps, and many community programs.

Lastly, Beachwood has many fine restaurants such as Giovanni's, Moxie, Charlie's Crab J. Gilberts, P.F. Chang's Chinese Bistro, and Nappa Valley Grille, to name a few.
