Fourteen miles to the southwest of Mount Vernon is Centerburg, situated in the geographical center of Ohio. Laid out by Stephen Sutton and Jacob Houck in 1830. 1,323 people call this small hamlet home. The village has a lot to be proud of, and offers its residents a quiet life.
