Santa Claus visits Groveport on the first weekend of December, beginning with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony across from Town Hall and the arrival of Santa to officially welcome the holiday season.

Close to the major shopping and dining areas, Groveport boasts a central village area that has been revived in the past five years, featuring brick streets, wrought-iron street lamps, craft stores and antique shops.
