Located in the north central part of Stark County, this quaint family town offers an excellent environment. City parks, a community swimming pool, new high school, magnificent YMCA and tree lined streets are a part of the draw to North Canton. The Hoover Historical Center and the famous Harry London Candy Factory are just a couple of the attractions in or around North Canton Ohio.
The Main Street Restoration Project has beautified the heart of the city with wide sidewalks and Victorian lamp posts. In the center of town you'll find the Hoover Company, home of the Hoover sweeper. Hoover is only one of the companies that calls North Canton home, but it is the one who, over the years has made North Canton the city it is. Today North Canton is the address of a number of diversified companies.
Like all of Stark County, North Canton has a rich heritage of athletic tradition. The pride of the community is exhibited in a packed stadium on a fall Friday night and soccer fields teaming with youngsters and their proud parents on Saturdays.
Adjacent to North Canton and just off I-77 are some of the region's best shopping areas. Belden Village Mall is a huge enclosed mall with many national retailers and the newest shopping center, "The Strip" is over a mile long and has many of the "killer" stores. One look at the automobile license tags and you know that these are truly regional malls.
