Pepper Pike has much to do for recreation with a Metro Park that caters to younger residents with sports facilities and swimming, and for the golf fanatics there are two prestigious golf clubs in the city, Pepper Pike Country Club and the Pepper Pike Club.

The Orange City School District serves Pepper Pike and is recognized as one of the best in the country. Pepper Pike itself is home to prestigious Ursuline College, an all-female, Catholic-sponsored institution, which was founded in 1871. The school was originally located in Cleveland, moved to Overlook from 1926 to 1966 and to its current location in Pepper Pike.
