Valley View is located approximately 7.6 miles from Cleveland, Ohio in the county of Cuyahoga covering a land area of 5.6 miles and home to approximately 2,179 residents. Valley view has it's own school district with growing enrollment of over 2,029 students whose educational needs are served in two elementary schools (grades K-5), one middle school, (grades 6-8), and a comprehensive high school with an enrollment of 643 students. The Miami Valley Career Technology is also located in the Valley View School district, actually providing classes in 50 vocational areas throughout Ohio. Valley View is home to many parks, the Valley View Woods Park is located on Schreiber Road and offers an abundance of recreational opportunities to our residents including: walking/jogging trails, tennis courts, five picnic pavilions, two baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, two sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, two children's playgrounds and a garden gazebo. The Lombardo Park is located on Charles Drive, Lombardo Park also provides residents with many recreational opportunities including: a tennis court, one baseball/softball field, a children's playground and a picnic pavilion. Miller Park is affectionately known as "Tiny Lane," Miller Park connects Fosdick and Murray Roads. Residents can enjoy a small picnic pavilion, a basketball court, and playground toys.
