Cushing -- Experience the pride, the people, the progress!

Cushing, Oklahoma, a small city located in the heart of central Oklahoma, is halfway between the major metropolitan cities of Tulsa and Oklahoma City, and home to nine major oil companies, new water and sewer systems, an active Chamber of Commerce, and an outstanding school system.

Cushing recently was named both an Oklahoma Certified City and an Oklahoma Main Street Community, largely through the efforts of a huge volunteer base who are very proud of their town and the quality of life it affords. Cushing places emphasis on the family unit. Currently, Cushing is expanding its high school campus with the addition of an athletic field house and sports facility. The City Park boasts a new outdoor amphitheater built with volunteer funds. Yearly the Chamber of Commerce, with the help of local civic groups, hosts a barbecue and blues festival, an arts festival in the park, a 5K run, a hot rod show, a PCRA rodeo, and various holiday celebrations. A beautiful 18-hole golf course is located three miles east of town, and construction is nearly complete on a new water park in the City Park.
