The Arts Commission of Tigard, Tualatin and Sherwood (ACTTS) actively promotes the arts in Tigard and brings world-class performing artists to the city. A new state-of-the-art auditorium at Tigard High School is the summer home to the professional Broadway Rose Theater.

Washington Square, one of the Northwest's largest climate controlled shopping malls is in Tigard. It features newly remodeled major department stores including one of the largest Nordstrom stores on the West coast.
