Pleasant Hills is a town with a big history, and even bigger plans for the future! With a population of approximately 10,000, Pleasant Hills is one of the bigger communities surrounding Pittsburgh, but it is a well run community that is able to accommodate its residents' needs. This area has deep historical roots. The French and Indian War, Pontiac's Rebellion and Whiskey Rebellion all took place in the township's immediate area. The area was destined to grow and develop because of the rich agricultural land and coal seams it contained. Just minutes from Pittsburgh also known as "Kidsburgh" this is a city that has something for everyone!
