Haycock Township is located in Upper Bucks County, halfway between the Delaware River on the east and Montgomery County to the west. Haycock Launch, located off Route 563, is favored for power boats (up to 9.9 hp), canoes and inflatable watercraft. This is a good launch for fishing the Haycock Creek and dam. Lake Tohee County Park, on Old Bethlehem Road, is approximately three miles from the Nockamixon State Park office, and offers facilities for picnicking, fishing, hiking, and camping.

Haycock Mountain (the second highest point in Bucks County) is within the State Game lands, and provides an excellent view of Nockamixon Lake during winter and early spring. The summit has many smooth-surfaced giant boulders to interest amateur geologists, hikers and climbers. Head west on Route 563 from the intersection of Route 412 for about a mile. Take the first right after the bridge on Top Rock (no street sign). Follow this for about ¾ mi. to a pull off on the left. Park and follow one of the many trails heading uphill. As you work uphill the frequency and size of the boulders will increase until you reach the peak.
