Lower Nazareth Township is an established community that has experienced controlled growth. Residents of the township can find many opportunities to relax or enjoy activities in the community and surrounding areas.

Many recreation opportunities are available at Lower Nazareth Township Parks. The largest, Louise B. Moore County Park, is a 125-acre park featuring fields for baseball and softball, badminton and volleyball courts, playground equipment, and pavilions available for picnics and parties. Surrey Glen Park, which has a parking lot, can accommodate two soccer fields are featured at Surrey Glen Park which has ample parking. The 18-acre Lower Nazareth Township Park is located behind the municipal building and includes shuffleboard, two tennis courts, baseball and football fields, playground equipment, and a picnic area. Hahns Meadow Park is 15-acres along the Monacacy Creek where visitors can take relaxing walk or go fishing.

Residents can find additional activities in nearby Easton and Bethlehem. Each year the City of Easton hosts a reenactment on July 8, 1776 of the original reading of the Declaration of Independence on Heritage Day. In Bethlehem there are number of festivals such as the Bach Festival, the Musikfest, and Celticfest. The Bach Festival, attracting thousands of people, is the oldest of its kind in America and offers two weekends of music, discussions, and lectures. The Musikfest is a well-known 9 day event that features 300 musical performers and takes place in downtown Bethlehem. Celticfest is the largest celebration of Celtic culture in North America and also takes place in Bethlehem.
