We border Yardley, Lower Makefield, and Falls Township. We are very close to Sesame Place, Oxford Valley Mall, and many more attractions and convenient services in the Delaware Valley. Our housing is very affordable. We have sweet neighborhoods that remind me of my grandmother, as well as some newer homes. Morrisville is a historically significant Borough in Lower Bucks County, PA. William Penn built his mansion, Pennsbury Manor here on the Delaware River, and it was the original planned seat of government for Pennsylvania and the Colonies. A lovely area called the "Greystones" by the Native Americans is being developed into a park to preserve the beauty of nature and the notability of its history. The stones were a major landmark to the early settlers and Native Americans of the area. Morrisville maintains a small town atmosphere, and a neighborly feeling, but has easy access to Philadelphia, Trenton, and the major artery of Route 1 travels right through town. We describe Morrisville as a village. The Business Association, Borough Government and Health Service providers work together to promote a friendly and active atmosphere for healthy, happy families. All of the elementary schools are within "walking distance" to the neighborhoods that they service. Parents are very involved in the education of their children here. Special services are provided on the same basis as the largest school district in Bucks County through the Intermediate Unit. We are in a redevelopment program to bring a new set of recreational, dining, and park areas to the riverfront area. The Actor’s NET of Bucks County will be moving in their "new" building along the river that is a historic restoration.
