West Hempfield offers rolling hills and open farmland and is part of the Hempfield School District, one of the most sought after school systems in the county. Although West Hempfield Township has a "country" feel it still offers access to shopping, employment centers, state of the art medical facilities and historic Lancaster City which dates to the 1700s.
