Nestled in the heart of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Wyoming offers residents an area of natural beauty, with mountains, streams, lakes and valleys providing outdoor recreational opportunities year-round. Wyoming is one of several small towns that are part of the greater Wilkes-Barre area. Wyoming comprises about 3,500 residents, and nearby West Wyoming another 2,500. Wyoming is an attractive town because of its location, near the Susquehanna River. This means there is plenty to do all year round, from boating in the summer to ice fishing in the winter and everything in between!

For those less enthusiastic about water sports, there is always the local golf course! Choose one from one of the many fine public and private golf courses in and around Wyoming. You might not be able to play all year round, but the playing season is fairly long.

Wyoming might experience all four seasons, but summers to like to stay around! Spring comes soon enough, generally in March, and sometimes winter does not make its presence known until after the first of the year!
