A staff of 20-full time employees at Easley Fire Department provide around-the-clock fire protection for citizens in Easley and surrounding areas. Pickens County operates under the council-administrator form of government. Six elected councilmen represent citizens in the Easley, Pickens, Clemson, Liberty, Dacusville and Central districts. Easley is governed by a mayor-council body composed of members from six wards.
