Valencia is a sensitively planned, intelligently balanced new town that truly offers something for everyone. The paseos are a favorite community feature for many Valencia residents. Adults jog or stroll along these quiet pathways from early morning until late at night. All the paseos, except in nature preserves, are well-lit. Children can bicycle, rollerblade or skateboard safely away from traffic. Every year, the paseos host a number of events such as bike-a-thons, walk-a-thons and run-a-thons, which bring residents together and help local organizations raise funds.
Valencia is home to the Tournament Players Club (TPC) at Valencia, California's first and only PGA TOUR facility. The 18-hole, daily fee championship course with limited membership opportunities elevate the caliber of golf offered throughout Southern California. The Clubhouse offers great dining and entertaining opportunities as well. Golf has been an important part of Valencia since the community's earliest days and one enjoyed by golfers at all playing levels. The community also boasts the Robert Trent Jones designed Valencia Country Club, now home to the SBC Champions Tour, as well as Vista Valencia Golf Course, both located along Interstate 5.
