Ashby is a small town located north of Fitchburg in North central New England. It is considered part of the Fitchburg/Leominster metro area, although Ashby is more than just an exurb of this metro area.

Nashoba Valley Technical High School is a regional technical school that opened in 1969 to serve both technical and academic needs of high school-aged young men and women. Today, students from the towns of Chelmsford, Groton, Littleton, Pepperell, Shirley, Townsend and Westford enjoy the career preparation in 20 technical programs on an alternating week basis. Our students also take rigorous academic courses required for a high school diploma and entrance into two and four year college programs.
