In addition, Brenham's new recreational facility (Hohlt Park) is nearing completionand will include eleven soccer fields, one of which is a championship field, three baseball fields, one softball field, two volleyball courts, a fishing/irrigation pond, a one-mile exercise trail, horseshoe pits, a disc golf course, two playground/picnic areas and a hlaf-mile nature trail on 70 acres of land. Also, at a separate location, the Blue Bell Aquatics Center has just been opened which includes an indoor six-lane competition pool, a therapy/rehabilitation pool, and an outdoor 6,000 square foot pool.
