A small community located just 18 miles west of I-45, surrounded by trees and populated by friendly people, the Magnolia area is approximately 157 square miles of timbered terrain located in the southwest corner of Montgomery County.

The landforms are approximately 150 feet above sea level and the area is one of gently rolling hills. Magnolia is located 40 miles northwest of Houston and 20 miles west of Conroe. Rolling pasturelands skirted by lush pine forests combine to make the Magnolia area particularly desirable for home sites. A blending of horse farms, ranches and planned communities, Magnolia maintains its small town atmosphere. Due to its central location, many of Magnolia's residents commute daily to Houston, Conroe or the Woodlands for employment. Magnolia offers easy accessibility to major shopping areas as well as to cultural and sports events.

Locally, shopping and services are convenient and also offers shops filled with antiques and collectibles. Major shopping malls are just minutes away in Houston and The Woodlands. The town has several fast food eateries along with family style restaurants that are sure to please just about any appetite.

Magnolia has an excellent school system, with teachers that really care about your children and their education. In addition to classroom education , many extracurricular activities are offered to the students; sports, 4-H, drama and choir just to mention a few.

Sports abound in Magnolia, both school sponsored and sponsored by local organizations. Available sports are football, basketball, volleyball, track, soccer, baseball, softball and others. Magnolia Independent School District has a great stadium for those weekly football games and track meets. There are gyms for basketball, volleyball and other events. The local baseball and softball organizations provide a great opportunity to experience these sports to the fullest.
