Sandy citizens also enjoy the most extensive trails and parks programs in the state; not to mention a youth and adult recreation program which boasts more than 20,000 participants annually. These recreational options are enhanced by Sandy's proximity to several of the nation's fines ski resorts, as well as some of the country's most prestigious and famous national parks.
