Located in south Tarrant County, Crowley offers a unique and distinctively peaceful living and working environment when contrasted to the fast-paced tempo of metropolitan living. With a population of approximately 7,300, Crowley has the room and desire to grow and develop. Crowley provides the friendly atmosphere of a rural area while located only 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and less than one hour from downtown Dallas. Seven of the district's nine campuses received a "Recognized" rating from the Texas Education Agency. The two remaining campuses received an "Acceptable" rating. The 56 square mile district serves 7,600 students on seven elementary campuses, two middle school campuses and one high school campus. A second high school opened August, 1998.
