Southlake is part of the Carroll Independent School District. Rated an Exemplary district by the State of Texas, Carroll ISD is the largest school district in the state to maintain the highest rating of Exemplary at the district level, as well as at every campus. Five of Carroll ISD's schools have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education. For the past two years, Carroll ISD won the coveted University Interscholastic League Lone Star Cup as the top 4A district with regards to academic, athletic and fine arts competitions. Carroll ISD is a two-time defending 4A Academic State Champion!
