Town Beach: Located on Lake Road near the Holmes Covered Bridge, open to residents and non-residents. Beach stickers are available at the beach, which is open 9 A.M to 9 P.M daily, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Seasonal stickers cost $10 for residents and $20 for non-residents. Season stickers for a second vehicle cost $2. Seasonal windsurfing passes cost $20 for residents and $40 for non-residents. Day stickers cost $1 for residents and $2 for non-residents.
Tennis Courts: Located at the beach area and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ice Skating Rink and Warming Huts: Located next to Charlotte Central School on the Charlotte-Hinesburg Road. Public Boat Launching Access: Located on Cedar Beach Road. Public Canoe Launching Access: Located by the Quinlin Covered Bridge on Lewis Creek Road, just off Spear Street. Hiking Trails: Located on Pease Mountain behind Charlotte Central School. Commuter Rail
Beginning in October, 1998, commuter train service will commence between Charlotte and Burlington with a goal of improving mobility and accessibility in the Shelburne Road Corridor. This commuter rail service is also seen as an opportunity to test the feasibility of rural passenger rail, obtain federal funds for track upgrades and expand transportation capacity in a critically important corridor. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church: Located on Spear Street, just south of the intersection with Charlotte-Hinesburg Road.
