Mount Rainier - a soaring 14,410 ft high mountain at the summit is the most visited attraction in Washington. Mount Rainier National Park has 50 maintained trails throughout the park, with miles of hiking, biking, camping and skiing. Crossing the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on your way to Gig Harbor, you will pass over the remains of "Galloping Gertie" the famous undulating bridge that collapsed in 1940. A daytrip to world famous Westport could have you catch a Salmon.

Close to the freeway, Seattle Tacoma International Airport is within an hour reach, with the city of Seattle following. Step inside Tacoma's Union Station, restored to its 1911 grandeur, to view stunning glass art by renowned artist and Tacoma native son Dale Chihuly.

The Museum of Glass, one of Tacoma's cultural landmarks, was declared one of the new "Seven Wonders of the World" by magazine "Conde Naste Traveler". The 698-acre Point Defiance Park - home to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Fort Nisqually, a restored Hudson Bay fur trading post transports you to 1855, and the Camp 6 Logging Exhibit tells the story of Washington's steam logging industry from 1880 to 1950. It is the second largest urban park in the nation after Central Park in New York City. You can beachcomb and also enjoy seven specialty gardens: Japanese, Rose, Dahlia, Iris, Northwest Native, Herb and Rhododendron.

Numerous more Museums are throughout the area, including the Fort Lewis Military Museum, for a fascinating look at U.S. Army history in the Pacific Northwest from the 1803 Lewis & Clark Expedition to the present. Puyallup - The Western Washington Fair - 30 minutes away, hosts the 6th largest fair on the continent were over 1.5 million people "Do the Puyallup" every September. Every spring the Daffodil Festival rolls through town with floats, classic cars, and marching bands in celebration of the April daffodil blossoms that fill Puyallup fields. Puyallup is also home to the 1890 Ezra Meeker Mansion, a Victorian manor on the National Historic Registry. Many antique shops invite you throughout Puyallup and Sumner.

Eastern Washington from Yakima and Winatche supply our Farmers markets from with fresh fruits like Cherries, Peaches and Apples during the summer. Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Eatonville takes you on a one hour tram ride to see elk, caribou, Big horn sheep and other native animals roaming free. Several shopping malls are also close by in the area.
