Our delightful island also boasts 23 parks, with many great public beaches. Mercer Island only has three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school, so it has the feeling of a sophisticated small town, with a lot of community spirit, and activities for all including marvelous senior citizen programs for retirees (age 55 and over).
