Nooksack, with a population of 1,004 in 2006 and is located at the intersection of State Highways 9 and 544, just 20 minutes northeast of Bellingham and 15 minutes from two border crossings leading into British Columbia. (1 hour) are easily within reach, but residents are more likely to go fishing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, boating and much more. Both Mt. Baker and saltwater marinas are less than an hour away from Nooksack. Special events include the Everson-Nooksack Summer Festival the second weekend in July.

In the midst of many dairy and berry farms, Nooksack residents are only minutes away from restaurants, retail stores and professional services.
