Welcome to the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco Washington). Our location at the confluence of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima Rivers creates some of the most beautiful stretches of water in the state. Combine that with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and you've got the ideal spot for all of your favorite water sports. Boating, fishing, water-skiing, jet-skiing, swimming, inner-tubing... the list goes on and on!

July temperatures average 92 degrees in the day and 60 degrees at night. The median low temperature in winter is 33.5 degrees. Because of the mild climate, this is a gardener's paradise. The mild climate has allowed development of one of the fastest growing segments of our economic base. Premium wineries have sprung up throughout the region, challenging traditional California wineries for quality and variety. Additionally, the climate allows nearly year round golf on the many fine golf courses in the area.

The economy is well diversified centered on a strong commercial base, energy and agriculture industries. Kennewick is the largest with a population of 48,100, followed by Richland at 35,990 and Pasco at 22,170.
