Additionally, the climate allows nearly year round golf on the many fine golf courses in the area. The economy is well diversified centered on a strong commercial base, energy and agriculture industries. Kennewick is the largest with a population of 48,100, followed by Richland at 35,990 and Pasco at 22,170.
