Lewis County is located in southwestern Washington State 90 miles south of Seattle, 50 miles south of Tacoma, 30 miles south of the State Capital of Olympia, and 80 miles north of Portland, Oregon. Lewis County's largest city is Centralia. The county seat is the City of Chehalis. Centralia and Chehalis are known as the twin cities.
