Jackson, Wisconsin

Charming Jackson is small-town USA at its best! It's easy to see why Jackson is named one of the fastest growing communities in Wisconsin! People flock to this area for its surrounding beauty, quality of life, and prime location.

The dynamic growth of the community and its excellent location relative to the Milwaukee metroplex and transportation systems has resulted in numerous light industrial/distribution businesses. Contributing to the strong economic base of the Village are Sysco Food Service, Rytek, Inc., Sundance Photo, Kerry Ingredients, Northland Cranberries, Wisconsin Pharmacal, Universal Strap, and more. Both business and private sectors benefit from the leadership in the Village, who pride themselves on serving and helping in any way they can. The Jackson community has benefited from a strong industrial/business base in two ways...excellent employment opportunities and one of the lowest property tax rates in Southeast Wisconsin!

The Jackson Area Business Association (JABA, founded in 1949) plays an active, vital role in the community. JABA Grant Programs have provided funds to Jackson area organizations such as Boys & Girls Club, Boy Scouts-Girl Scouts, the Jackson Historical Society, Little League, and Area Senior Citizens. JABA helps organize the annual "Action in Jackson" community parade and picnic and has contributed thousands of dollars in scholarship monies by sponsoring an annual golf outing/auction, Jackson community Rummage Sale, and annual Childrens' Christmas Party.

This very family-oriented community boasts many residential neighborhoods, most within walking distance of 5 recreational parks. The Village and Town of Jackson have combined resources to form a terrific Parks and Recreation Dept., boasting diverse activities for all age groups in almost every sport plus trips and art classes...and a wonderful summer Music in the Park program.

Jackson has a public elementary school with K-5 grades and Morning Star Lutheran School. Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade are bussed to the Badger Middle School in West Bend.
