Wilderness areas are within a 2 hour drive. More than 75 percent of the land within Washakie County is publicly owned. Golfers will appreciate Worland's 18 hole municipal course. Winter also affords many recreational opportunities such as downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling.
